Nearly 25 limited edition, rare or unique brews will be made available at the festival across its 40 stalls. About 30 stalls will be selling alcohol, with the rest dedicated to food.
Five masterclasses are included in the ticket entry price, with Victorian brewery Hawkers hosting a “From Scrap to Beer” class.
The class will tell the story of how a scrap metal collector found beer and now runs one of the nation’s largest independent breweries.
“Hawkers are a great and very popular brewery,” BeerFest organiser James Harding said.
It will be the first time the event has been held at its new location at Royal Park with organisers stating a grassy area was more “inline” with the national Beerfest Australia’s family-friendly environment – allowing for more people.
The now one-day event starts at 2pm and will wrap up about 10pm. Tickets cost $25 and are available from eventbrite.
