“This is a fantastic achievement and great preparation for success in the next phase of your life,” Mr Rockliff said.
Mr Rockliff thanked the teachers, families and support staff for their efforts supporting students in their studies, as well as the supervisors and markers who worked through the exam period, and the Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification.
“We also acknowledge the exceptional academic achievement of the Tasmanian students whose results place them in the top 100 by Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) score,” he said.
The top student in the North was George Coe from Scotch Oakburn College: for the North West, Logan Howell from Don College.
Students who opted to receive TCE results by post will receive their results in the coming days.
