The Launceston Church Grammar School student has been chosen to perform alongside New Zealand operatic baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes on the Princess Theatre stage.
With only days to go, Rumble has been busy preparing her acapella song for Teddy, ‘Tis the Season on December 13.
It was a big surprise when Rumble discovered she would be performing in the show.
She didn’t know she had even been nominated until a couple of weeks ago.
While Rumble didn’t want to name the song she will performing, she did say it was traditional, but not well known.
“I’m really excited to meet Teddy and the other singers,” Rumble said.
She will join a world-class line up of performers when she makes her singing debut at the Princess Theatre.
The show will also feature rising star soprano Cristina Russo, renowned Welsh international concert pianist Rhodri Clarke and Melbourne’s leading harpist Alannah Guthrie-Jones.
- Tickets are available for Teddy, ‘Tis the Season at the Princess Theatre box office for $89 or $75 for children under 15, concession and 2017 subscribers. The show will start at 7pm.
