The event is relaunching on Friday as the Launceston Night Market, now organised by Red Brick Road owner Corey Baker and Goaty Hill Wine’s Natasha Nieuwhof.
“As part of the new look we have renamed it and changed the focus … it’s more about food, music, cider, wine, gin and celebrating all those sorts of things we love about our community,” Ms Nieuwhof said.
“We’re working with at least 10 different sorts of producers that are coming onsite. We have a range of great music and performers.”
Mr Baker said there was “more to come” for the market, with hopes to make it a regular event, even throughout winter, at a number of different venues in Launceston.
Ms Nieuwhof said the market had moved away from craft items because the pair’s expertise was with the food and beverage industry.
Launceston Night Market will be held on Friday in York Town Square from 5pm until 9pm. The market will also be held on January 19.
