Now in its fourth year, between 500 and 800 lots will be showcased to bidders, including signs, bottles and boxes from brands such as Caltex, Goodyear, Texaco, Mobil and many more.
The majority of what will be on show comes from a single collector who contacted Armitage after deciding not to take his extensive collection with him when he moved house.
He may have owned a large amount of rare items, but Armitage auctioneer Neil O’Brien said the collector wasn’t overly fussed about parting with his memorabilia.

The Armitage Auctions Petrol Memorabilia Auction will commence with seven days of viewing from Saturday, December 9.
