An instructional video for learner drivers was released by the Break O’Day Council last week as a part of its Get in2 Gear program.

The Get in2 Gear program pairs learner drivers with mentors to help the would-be drivers attain their licence.
The program intends to improve participants’ knowledge and confidence behind the wheel of a car.
Learner drivers Megan Stocks and Rose Steel star in the two-minute film, which instructs people on basic car skills, such as turning on your hazard lights and demister.
“It was really good [to film the video] and the prorgram helped me a lot, because I didn’t know a lot of these things before I got my learner’s permit,” Ms Stocks said.
“I’d encourage other learners to do [the program] as well.”
