50 new bed covers in a range of different colours and designed were hand-made by the group, all aimed to suit the differing ages on the ward.
4K Auxiliary secretary Priscilla Busch said making bed sheets is fairly simple, but it makes a big difference to the children.
“We look for something that we can do for the ward to brighten up the rooms and to improve day-to-day life for the kids.
These bed covers give the hospital beds a homier feel, and makes the children more at ease.

“We all like to stay in bed, but it's hard when staying in bed is your life. These bed covers give the hospital beds a homier feel, and makes the children more at ease,” Ms Busch said.
“It’s amazing to be able to see such a big difference on such a small budget, and it really warms your heart,” she said.
