The event is the first of three racedays at the track, with Sunday’s event set to host an eight-race program, beginning at 1.30pm.
Track secretary Sandra Rybarczyk said the day would be a family-friendly affair.
“The aim is to have a good family day, she said.
“There is free entertainment, a jumping castle, face painting and an animal nursery.”
A part of the free entertainment will be a set from local band Ball and Chain.
Tickets are available on the gate and cost $5 for adults, while children under 16 enter for free.
