Grade 8 student Connor Betts was the standout performer over the two days, setting new records in the 100m (11.85), 200m (25.40) as well as the triple jump, long jump and high jump.
Betts was one of four athletes to take a clean sweep of the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m events, alongside younger brother Jaiden (grade 7 boys), Jenna Griffiths (grade 7 girls) and Candice Archer (grade 8 girls).
The 14-year-old also helped set new records in two relay teams.
Triathlete Catelyn Turner broke her year group’s records in the 800m and 1500m for the third year running, smashing the grade 9 girls’ 1500m benchmark by nearly 50 seconds with a time of 5:21.15.
Oonah house took out the carnival by 148 points from Lenah, with last year’s winners Quoiba a further 236 behind in third.
