The burn off is part of the state-wide Fuel Reduction Program that is aimed at reducing the bushfire risk to help protect lives and communities.
The burn’s total will be about 72 hectares and is likely to take between one and three days to complete.
Smoke could linger for a few more days.
Access to the area during the burn off will be restricted and the public is asked to remain well out of the burn site.
The burn is weather dependant. Information about the burn will be provided on the TFS website.
