Organisers of New Years event Royal Eve are promising another spectacular night, with Australia’s Got Talent rockers The Wolfe Brothers announced as this year’s headline act.

The event will again be held on the waterfront at Royal Park, after last year’s event attracted a capacity crowd of around 6500.
“We were just stoked with everyone who came along to the event last year,” event organiser Jesse Higgs said.
“Launceston punters have definitely proved to be a great audience.
“We are looking forward to putting on another amazing New Years event.”
Fellow AGT success story Tommy Franklin will serves at the official MC for the night, with local acts Bad Dad Orchestra,The Pete Cornelius Band, Sumner and Sundaze, Chase City and Vauda and FLWX rounding out the entertainment lineup.
Punters can expect the best of Tassie's beer, wine and dining as well as twilight and midnight fireworks displays.
Organisers are also promising a bigger and better play area for the kids including amusement rides and jumping castles.
Discounted pre-sale tickets are available on the Royal Eve website, and hard-copy tickets will be available from the Launceston Visitors Information Centre on November 13.
