Some of the state’s best women will again take on their interstate rivals at David Barro Stadium, Bulleen, from 3pm.
Tasmania won the inaugural cup in 2013, with Victoria winning the following two meetings in 2015 and last year on the Apple Isle 5-nil.
Football Federation Tasmania have selected a strong side including Launceston’s City’s Caitlin Storay and Bethany Bygrave.
Coach Michael Edwards’ 16-women team will have WNPL Victoria players Aimee Medwin, Olivia Edwards and Isabella Gee at its disposal, along with Belconnen United (ACT) star Jessie Williams.
Edwards will need to make some tough selection choices with a plethora of quality midfield options available for his starting XI.
The final make-up of his defensive unit will also need to be spot on with Victoria boasting plenty of scoring options.
