Police said the fire started in the wheelhouse of the boat, Japara, and quickly spread to the galley.
After unsuccessful attempts to extinguish the fire, the life-raft was deployed.
The four men made their way to shore where managers of the Three Hummock Island Accommodation assisted them.
Police were called to the fire about 5.30pm.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter collected the men from the island and took them to the North West Regional Hospital for assessment.
