Voluntary positions with one, two or three-year terms are being sought.
Minister for Arts Elise Archer said the council aimed to provide strategic input to the state government on the arts, culture and creative industries, focusing on collaboration between sectors and ensuring a strong, vibrant future.
Meeting three times a year, the council will have the Minister for Arts as the chair, the Department Secretary as deputy chair as well as representatives from a variety of arts, cultural and creative industry backgrounds, including regional representation.
