The outspoken coach was cited on the serious charge of behaving in an “abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene manner” towards the umpires in Saturday’s heated clash that has been referred directly to the TSL tribunal.
The penalties offered out to Robbie McManus, Max Kleverkamp, Thor Boscott, Josh McGuinness and Winter could have been increased further should the match review panel or the tribunal use its discretionary powers to double its loading in relation to incidents in grand finals.
McManus was cited for instigating a melee and was offered a one-match penalty given that he had a previous low-level offence this year.
Kleverkamp was reported on Saturday for striking Jake Pearce.
The MRP assessed the incident as careless, low impact with high contact, which attracts a two-match suspension with increased loading should Kleverkamp plead not guilty.
Boscott was referred to the tribunal for striking Tarryn Thomas.
The incident was deemed intentional with low impact to the body but a one-match offer was increased to two due to a previous sanction earlier in the season.
McGuinness was reported for striking Bart McCulloch for an intentional blow with low impact and high contact.
The incident attracts two matches should he fight the charge, but McGuinness was cleared of a second charge for making late contact on Mark Walsh.
The tribunal will sit on Thursday night.
