Midfielder Templeton and key-defender Mihocek are two of the important pillars of Port Melbourne’s run to the season decider against Richmond at Etihad Stadium.
“I think it will be our pressure on the opposition and our willingness to then make attacking moves and back ourselves into those attacking moves that will do it,’’ he said about how Port would down the Tigers.
Templeton said Mihocek’s presence at Port Melbourne was one of the reasons he chose the club as his football home for 2017, and said it would be extra special to share another premiership with him.
Mihocek added: “It is exciting that we have got that opportunity to win another flag as we have grown up together and we still managed to come back and play for the same team and have some success.”
They won’t be the only Tasmanians in action, with North Hobart’s Sam Darley skippering Richmond.
