Crash Test Ladies plan to show the boys how it’s done, with a complete female line-up and production team hosting the event on Wednesday, September 27.
Comedian Kerri Gay said the women hoped to create a show to appeal to a different audience and broaden Launceston’s comedy scene.
“Women really are awesome at comedy and we laugh with each other, not at each other and that’s a huge advantage, it’s just about getting the confidence to get over that hideous ‘I am going to vomit’ feeling on the side of the stage,” she said.
“We have 10 comedians from all over the state performing including headliner Rachel Berger.”
If you want to see the women in action at Saint John Craft Beer you’ll need to get in fast, with tickets available through Eventbrite.
