The Longford Jazz Festival will come to town from September 15 and 17, with a number of Longford venues, including the Town Hall, set to play host to the event.
The weekend will feature jazz musicians from across the country, and will be headlined by Paul Ingle and Paul Furniss.
Bookings co-ordinator Dee Alty said that the festival looked to create a collaborative environment.
“Jazz is a little bit different from other sorts of music, because they love to get together and jam,” she said.
“They have a bit of fun playing with different people they haven’t played with before.”
