The bout is in Westbury but the knocks will probably be audible as far as Wareemba when Launceston and Inner West Sydney meet in a roller derby extravaganza on Saturday.

Teams from North-West and Southern Tasmania will make up a four-side program at Westbury Sports Centre, with Launceston’s Devil State Derby League to meet Inner West Derby League in the headline event.
Devil State Derby League veteran Emma Allen (SinDilemma) said she was expecting a close game between the two sides.
“Last year we played in a national event and we came second in our division and Inner West came third,” Allen said.
“It’s the first time we’re going to get to play against each other so it’s probably going to be a ripper of a game.
“I reckon it should be really fun and a bit smashy-smashy.”
Allen said coming up against interstate teams was always a welcome change from playing intraclub matches.
“We often play ourselves which is hard because you have to smash your friends - it’s hard to smash your friends but we do it.”
The first bout is at 3pm, with Devil State to play Inner West at 7pm.
Tickets are available at the door and cost $10 for adults and $2 for under-17s.
Entry is free for those aged five and under.
