Detectives from Launceston CIB have interviewed a 20-year-old West Launceston man in relation to the incident on Saturday morning.
"The man has been charged with injury to property and trespass. He is to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at a later date," said Acting Detective Inspector John Parker of Launceston CIB.
"Investigations have established that the damage caused was in relation to a prank involving several males, and involved a level of intoxication."
Acting Inspector Parker said there would be no further comment on the matter.
