This year, the team is again hoping to help the RSPCA reach its $40,000 goal.
Receptionist Vicki Newman said the centre has raised more than $1500 in past years.
The centre’s tells its patients about the event in advance, with a lot of other surrounding businesses placing orders too.
“We love the RSPCA, so anything that makes money for them, then we’re happy to do.”
The surgery hopes to make animal treats, too.
RSPCA’s marketing and fundraising coordinator Melanie Knight said Cupcake Day was the charity’s second biggest annual fundraiser.
“It costs us around $700 a day to care for an animal, so this really helps us care on a day-to-day basis,” she said.
Cupcake Day is officially being held on August 21, but Ms Knight said events could be held anytime during the month.
Registering for an event host pack, on the organisation’s website, is free.
