Winds of about 100 km/h are expected along the West and North coasts on Friday, before they decrease on Saturday morning.
The bureau predicts winds will remain steady, with the strongest gusts expected to peak between 70 and 80km/h.
Between five and 10mm of rain is predicted in the North of the state.
