Mrs Baker is excited about the custom-built Longford facilities, and believes that they will enhance the level of care that The Helping Hand will be able to provide to the broader community.
“We have built a mirror image of the existing building on site, and that one allows us to have two consulting rooms, and much more space to store our food supplies,” she said.
“It will also give us a new waiting area, new disabled access, a new toilet area and kitchen.”
The annual meeting for the organisation will take place on August 28 at 7.30pm at the Catholic Parish House on Goderich Street, Longford.
