The market received the kudos at the ABC delicious. awards, announced on Monday night.
It’s the second time the market has won the award, since it began in 2012.
In handing over the title to Harvest, award judges highlighted the market’s commitment to good governance and management.
In a statement, market’s organisation board said it was humbled every week by the loyalty, commitment and support of the community and market volunteers.
“One of our greatest achievements is that many in the community call it ‘our market’,” co-founder Jenny Edis said.
The market is held every Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm in the Cimitiere Street car park.
