The newest members of the Parliament, Braddon MHA Shane Broad and Rumney MLC Sarah Lovell, have been given additional responsibilities within the Parliamentary Labor Party.
Dr Broad is now responsible for the mining and infrastructure portfolios, as well as primary industries.
Denison Labor MHA Madeleine Ogilvie has relinquished the small business portfolio to Ms Lovell, who has also taken on workplace relations and mental health – a newly created shadow portfolio.
Opposition Leader Rebecca White said the reshuffle was done to ensure that Labor had “a dynamic team” to take to the election.
Leader of Government Business Michael Ferguson said the announcement showed that Labor was “in chaos”.
Greens leader Cassy O’Connor criticised Labor for not including a “dedicated” climate change portfolio in its PLP restructure.
