The Beaconsfield Child and Family Centre will host autism consultant Mary Brake to allow people to learn more about the condition.
Centre manager Stewart Bell said Ms Brake was an expert and regularly delivered thought-provoking workshops to parents.
“The workshop is designed for families and will provide information about autism, management strategies and also how to access support,” he said. “We want to make it accessible for everyone in the community.”
The free event is being held on August 11, with childcare available. Bookings for the event are essential. To secure your place contact community inclusion worker, Heather Green, on 63 83 1742.
