At 2.30pm architects McBride Charles Ryan will unveil the blueprints for the new campus, which includes three main university buildings and the pedestrian and cycling bridge linking Willis Street to Inveresk.
Representatives from the university, city council, state and federal governments will be at this afternoon’s announcement.
The plan includes provisions for a restructure of parking in the area and the creation of new community spaces.
Following community feedback the university plans to submit a development application to the City of Launceston to progress the project.
