Four Tasmanian Fire Service crews have contained a reported structure fire in Port Sorell in the state’s north.
A fire service spokeswoman said it appeared to be a chimney fire from initial reports from the River Road scene.
Two heavy tankers and a heavy pumper were mobilised and arrived at the fire, with an additional light tanker on the way.
However, the spokeswoman confirmed the fire crews would be returning back to base soon.
The fire was reported at 8.28pm.
A police spokesman confirmed the fire did not appear to “major”.
