The well-known North-East residents will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their friends and family in June.
The pair met a dance at Winnaleah about 62 years ago and now have 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
“We haven’t had any trouble, in sickness and in health, we’ve been there for one and other all the time,” Mrs Rattray said. “We’ve never had a row, if I ever got crabby, Eric would go away until calmed down.”
Mrs and Mr Rattray will celebrate their anniversary at the Pyengana Hotel on June 24. Mrs Rattray said all family and friends are welcome.
