Previous winner Robbie Tole was recognised for pioneering high-tech farming systems at his Greenvale property.
These awards celebrate the achievements of Landcare volunteers around the country who dedicate their valuable time and energy to care for our land and water.
Categories include sustainable farming, Indigenous land management, young Landcare leaders, Coastcare and innovation and Tasmanian entries close on August 18.
Landcare Australia chief executive Tessa Jakszewicz encourages everyone to nominate deserving Landcarers.
“Recognising our Landcare champions is vital for sustaining Landcare and its future,” Ms Jakszewicz said.
“As a community, Landcare provides vital support to our land and natural resources,” she said.
