More than 50 people attended to share their memories. Organiser Tanya Rattray said the relaunch was delightful. 

“People made things out the book and brought it to the morning tea and shared their stories,” Mrs Rattray said. 

The event sold all the reprinted versions of the book, with another 110 being printed to meet the demand. But Mrs Rattray said this would be the final print run.   

Any surplus funds are being donated to the Scottsdale Mechanic Hall’s adopt-a-chair program. Mrs Rattray said a donation of about $750 would be donated to the program. To get your own copy contact Merrilyn Lette on Facebook.
