Stage two of the terminal reconfiguration works will begin this week and start with the demolition of the wall and glass doors for arrivals, adjacent to the Wilderness Cafe.
Upon completion of the wall demolition, temporary walls will be installed next to the car rental desks.
Stage one of the Terminal Reconfiguration Project is nearing completion.
The level one lift access has been changed and a new lift waiting area has been constructed.
Lift access is now via the northern stairwell adjacent to the check-in hall.
People using the area are urged to take care due to contractors still working in this area.
Launceston Airport staff have asked passengers to remain cautious when moving near the construction areas.
In June 2016 the airport unveiled the final phase of a $3.5m terminal transformation project, which included a 630-square metre expansion.
