Earlier this week, Brownlie performed on stage with pop sensation Katy Perry as one of her dancers during a performance at the MTV Europe Music Award ceremony in Madrid, Spain.
Brownlie was one of 100 professional dancers who auditioned for the role in Los Angeles.
Only four were chosen to travel to Europe to perform with Perry.
Earlier this year, Brownlie performed in a dance routine on the smash hit US television show Glee.
Brownlie was the lead male dancer during the performance of the Britney Spears song Me Against The Music, which was performed by Glee character Brittany, played by Heather Morris.
The former Launceston dancer broke into the international scene when he won a role in the much-vaunted musical Wicked in Melbourne in 2008.
