Tasmania Police is investigating an aggravated armed robbery that occurred early Sunday morning in West Launceston.

Police said two men wearing dark clothes and with their faces covered approached a 69-year-old man in the driveway of his property about 7.10am.
The two men threatened the victim with what is believed to be a small handgun before taking valuables from his car.
The offenders ran into bushland near the home.
The victim was taken to Launceston General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries sustained during a struggle with one of the offenders.
