Hancox struck in the first half to make it 1-1 at the break before Rossetto handed City the ascendancy and get their Northern Championship campaign off to a flyer. Northern Rangers cruised to a 5-2 away victory against Burnie, while Somerset crushed Launceston United 5-1 at Cardigan Street.
It finished all square at Windsor Park with Riverside and Ulverstone both hitting the back of the net twice.

South Hobart piled on five second-half goals against the Northern Rangers at Darcy Street on Sunday.
Rangers took it up to the Southern powerhouse in the first 45 minutes with both teams scoreless and feeling confident at the break
Ben Hamlett converted a penalty for South in the 51st minute and then followed goals from Alex Water (62’), Hamlett (76’), Ryan Cook (86’) and Nick Morton (93’) to win 5-0.
