Featuring 160 players across nine male and two female teams, the tournament is run by the Australian Bhutanese Society of Northern Tasmania and is now into its third year.
ABSNT chairman Rup Koirala said the tournament was about creating a social occasion for people of diverse cultures.
“Every year with the help of Launceston City Council and the University of Tasmania we actively organise soccer lovers from diverse communities and the main objective of these harmony soccer games is to bring people together and build up good friendships,” Mr Koirala said.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday with matches to be played from 9am to 6pm.
