More than 14,000 primary and secondary students engage with the program in Tasmania every year to develop skills, understandings, attitudes and strategies to improve their mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
“Launceston Grammar doubles in size from about 50 students in year 6 to about 100 in year 7 with new entrants joining us from up to 20 different schools, principal Stephen Norris said.
“The Peer Support Program helps all our new year 7 students to feel known, supported and included as they begin their life at the Mowbray campus.”
