The Freedom Centre is an organisation which seeks to reform and reintegrate convicted sex offenders who have served their prison sentence.
“The government ... condemns in the strongest terms the alleged arson attack that has jeopardised the safety of the Freedom Centre residents and the broader Ellendale community,” Dr Goodwin said.
“In light of these safety concerns, the Government is working with the relevant parties on the relocation of the Freedom Centre residents.”
Dr Goodwin will meet with those involved in the situation today.
It is not yet clear where the residents will be relocated.
