Hall only Tasmanian picked in AFL draft

Hall was selected by Gold Coast with pick seven of the preseason draft, which was effectivley pick one after Greater Western Sydney passed on its allotted six selections.
Former Brisbane utility Tom Collier and several young Tasmanians who missed out on the national draft, including South Launceston trio John McKenzie, Dylan Riley and Michael Musicka, were overlooked.
