To add icing to the cake Blues midfielder Tim Bristow took home the Tassie Medal for the best and fairest player in the competition while full-forward Brian Finch won the Hudson Medal for the best goalkicker making it a clean sweep of trophies for the club that dominated the State League season with only one defeat.
Launceston gained revenge on Burnie for their second semi-final loss easily defeating the Dockers by 44 points in
the senior grand final.
The Blues trailed by two points at quarter time but a four goal to nil second quarter saw them lead by 19 points at half-time.
They maintained that buffer at the last change and came home strongly with five goals to one to run out comfortable winners 12.14 (86) to 6.6 (42).
Nathan O'Donoghue was awarded the Darrel Baldock Medal as best on ground for his efforts in the ruck and up for
ward.
Finch, captain Scott Stephens and Jackson Thurlow all kicked two goals each for the Blues.
Stephens, Thurlow, Majak Miar, Gene Savage, Jesse Lonergan and Beau Green were among the Blues best.
Launceston's colts side got the day off to a winning start defeating Clarence by 26 points in the colts grand final.
The young Blues led at every change and kicked four goals to two in the final quarter to beat the Roos 14.12 (96)
to 10.10 (70)_ making it double celebrations for the club.
Tom Claridge was judged best on ground for Launceston.
Will Stoltenberg kicked four goals to be another of the Blues best players along with Jason Edwards, Tim
Curwen, Alex Payne and Rohan Seargent.
