Now in their 31st year, the scholarships will help recipients access first-class coaching and training, quality competition equipment and assistance with travel costs.
High performance scholarships were awarded to 63 athletes across 13 sports, with eight additional scholarships through the emerging talent scholarship program, and two associate scholarships to professional athletes.
Recipients include Rio Olympians Hamish Peacock (javelin), Amy Cure, Georgia Baker and Richie Porte (cycling), Scott Bowden (mountain bike), Tim Deavin and Eddie Ockenden (hockey) and Meaghan Volker (rowing) and Paralympians Deon Kenzie (athletics) and Jacob Templeton (swimming).
