The council will ask for the Bass/Lyons electoral boundary to be redrawn to move the entirety of the West Tamar municipality into the boundaries of the electorate of Bass.
The motion was moved by Councillor Tim Woinarski and seconded by Cr Peter Kearney.
It was carried six votes to two.
