Nine independent and Catholic schools took part involving about 525 students from grades 3 to 6.
The carnival was hosted by Launceston Church Grammar School on behalf of the NIJSSA and no records were broken on the day.
Sacred Heart finished first from Scotch Oakburn and Launceston Christian School, followed by Grammar, St Thomas More’s, St Finn Barrs, St Anthony’s, Larmenier and Launceston Preparatory School.
“It was an outstanding success and a great job by all the kids and athletes,” NIJSSA co-ordinator Christian Zantuck said.
