Since that day, Mr Mosley has been a rising star in the field and this week, he was rewarded for his efforts when he took home the Diemen Award for Printing Apprentice of the Year.
The Tasmanian awards recognise the best in the design, digital and print sectors.
Mr Mosley, who works at Foot & Playsted in Launceston, said he still could not believe that he won the award.
“I felt ecstatic when I heard I’d won,” he said.
“Four years ago, a job came up in printing and I didn’t have clue what it was about, but now I love it and I’ll stay in the industry.
“I like that I get to do something different every day and I have met a lot of really good people.”
