Tasmanian selectors named a squad of 13 which trained at Bellerive Oval on Tuesday before flying to Brisbane before their match against Queensland at 11am on Thursday at Allan Border Field.
Webb was drafted in with Erin Lawler and Meg Phillips ruled out due to injury.
Roar coach Julia Price said Webb had shown great commitment in the off-season with the leadership XI and academy program, scoring 91 in the women’s intrastate cup last week.
Roar will also play NSW and South Australia in Brisbane.
