Earlier this season Bracknell managed to overrun Longford at Tigerland in a two-point thriller.
A result that did not sit well with the Tigers’ faithful.
Redlegs defender Logan Wright is new to the rivalry but said it was something that has started to sink in.
“I haven’t bought into it as of yet, but no doubt it will be brought into the weekend,” the former Bridgenorth player said.
“Longford are on a roll but we are starting to gel together five weeks out from finals.”
Meanwhile, Longford speedster Jake Murfett has the rivalry engrained within through family lines.
His grandfather, father and two brothers have all lived and embraced the tension.
There will be more than just four points on the line this Saturday with the annual Roberts Rivalry Cup up for grabs.
It is a trophy Bracknell has clinched three years running.
