Mrs Allen and her husband, Justin, have joined hundreds of customers Australia-wide who feel they have been ripped off after their VIP Sheds orders were never delivered.
The couple ordered their shed in September but went on to hear a string of excuses about why the delivery of their order had been delayed.
It is understood that VIP Sheds went into administration on Friday, leaving customers thousands of dollars out of pocket.
Mr and Mrs Allen are now left with no shed, little hope of getting their money back and an empty slab.
“It was meant to take eight to 10 weeks to arrive … now we’re just feeling angry and frustrated,” Mrs Allen said.
“We chased them up to try and see what happened, especially once our building works had started, and they just gave us the run-around.”
VIP and Sidach Sheds could not be contacted for comment on Sunday.
