Organised by Goaty Hill Wines, the event provided an opportunity for guests to unwind, meet up with their families and taste riesling, pinot and chardonnay.
Goaty Hill Wines partner Natasha Nieuwhof said the event usually centred on jazz music, but this year they decided to include a variety of genres such as funk, rock and acoustic guitar.
"I think they [the guests] really enjoy the different music acts we put on, but it's also the social side of things, seeing friends and family that maybe they haven't seen for a long time,” she said.
Melbourne resident Tony Robertson said it was his first time at the event, stopping over to enjoy the jazz music and visit his daughter-in-law, who lives locally.
Ms Nieuwhof said four different musical acts performed, including two bands and two acoustic solo performances.
"When you put live music in a venue like our vineyard. It's a pretty cool space,” she said.
A variety of food and drinks were also on offer, she said, including burgers, paella, wines and coffee.
She said the event was completely free to attend, but guests were encouraged to make a charitable donation to the Big Ears Animal Sanctuary.
Each year a different charity is selected.
"There are lots of families that have chosen to meet here because there's space for the kids to run around," Ms Nieuwhof said.
"You can get close to the music if you really want to get up and dance, or you can sit further back and enjoy more of the ambiance of being in a vineyard."
The event has been running for over five years, she said, and started as a way to give back to the community.
Goaty Hill Wines is a family owned and operated vineyard.
She said a lot of tourists were surprised to find the wine tasting taking place.
"This is really showcasing what the Tamar Valley is known for. Great food, great wine, great music and hospitality as well."
