The group of students departed on Wednesday morning and have since made the 80-kilometre trek from Deloraine back to the school’s Mowbray campus.
The tradition is now in its 53rd year and in 2016, the students are aiming to raise $25,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
With only one kilometre left until she reached the finish life, year 12 student Georgia Patrikopoulos, 18, said she was definitely ready to rest her legs.
“I am so excited to get back to school, my muscles are all hurting and my feet are so sore,” Georgia said.
“(On Wednesday night) it was really difficult because it was really dark and foggy, but for me, time just went so quickly.
“It’s really nice to be able to support the Breast Cancer Foundation and women especially seem to be really touched that we’re supporting the cause.”
Georgia said her only plan on Friday was to recover in bed.
