'One Day Redux: Australian Moments' looked back at 13 years of 'One Day' plays; plays written, rehearsed and performed in a 24 for hour timeframe through Mudlark Theatre.
One of the six plays to be performed at the Earl Arts Centre was 'Dust', set in post-war Australia.
Director Megan Jolly said the play would resonate with audiences today just as much as it did in its 2012 debut.
"It's a very Australian play - it's set in a very hot, dry, dusty environment where water at a premium, and the play is a lot about water, the healing powers of water, and people being consumed by dust," Ms Jolly said.
Ms Jolly said the theme of domestic violence was becoming increasingly relevant for a modern audience.
"I think after we've had Rosie Batty and all the work she did over that year that people are talking about it probably even more now than people were in 2012."
Audiences would enjoy the six plays performed in an evening of laughter and tears.
